Confluence Strategies Current Campaigns Include:

Working with a Colorado Rural Electric Association, its members and rural small businesses to obtain resources to increase investment in energy efficiency and to expand renewable energy generation capacity on Colorado’s Western Slope;

Partnering with progressive nonprofit organizations in Colorado to build field and outreach capacity; and,

Assisting in the development of the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation, the Republic of Haiti, where we are working with nonprofit organizations to build advocacy skills among a new generation of leaders and activists.

Assisting in the expansion of resources for the development of and manufacturing of concentrated solar electrical generating systems.

Past Campaigns Include:

Developing strategies to encourage progressive online activists to engage in offline activities;

Confronting the epidemic of childhood obesity by eliminating junk foods and drinks in our schools while promoting healthy foods and increased physical activity;

Fighting for a balanced national energy strategy by working to encourage investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency and by discouraging construction of new coal-fired power plants; and,

Updating oil and gas drilling rules to better protect public health, our drinking water and wildlife.
